What is the best sorority group to join? Do you think deltas are better or alphas?

Please don't be scared to add your own personal opinion! thanks for the help! What is the best sorority group to join? Do you think deltas are better or alphas?
In my opinion, only YOU can answer that question. They are both excellent organizations, and like a previous poster stated, each chapter is different. My suggestion to you is to research BOTH orgs, attend their events, and see which fits you best. Membership in any of these organization is a lifetime commitment, so you want to make sure you make a wise choice.

When I went to college, I wanted to choose the organization that was best for me. I come from a blue and white family (zeta and sigma's) and I didn't want to become one just because my family was apart of it. After doing some research in High School, I narrowed my choice down to AKA and Delta. My senior year in H.S. I knew that I wanted to be a Delta hands down. Reading ';In Search of Sisterhood'; really inspired me to become a member, and I also found out later that a lot of teachers that looked up to H.S. were Delta women.

Everyone has their own personal reason for joining an organization, and you need to find your own personal reason of why you want to become a part of Delta/Alpha/ or any other organization.

Good luck on your quest! What is the best sorority group to join? Do you think deltas are better or alphas?
Try ';Divine Nine'; by Lawrence C. Ross. I will include the link below!

You can't ask this question on answers because you will get opinions from all over. One sorority where you are, may not have the same reputation in another place. They are all still good social organizations and philanthropists. But all in all it is up to you to decide which to join. Ask family members that were in sororities, ask your friends, and again, there will be a Rush that you can go to which will let you spend time with all of them, and at the end you will know which one is better for you.
Alpha's all the way.
DELTAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥?all the way
ALPHAS RULE
The best sorority for you to join will depend on which group of girls you best get along with, or ';click'; with. If you choose to rush, chances are you won't get to pick which sorority you join, but rather you will get to meet each one, then it will be a mutual decision: the sorority will extend an invitation to join, then you'll decide. If you already have a few invites, then just go with the one that you feel you click with better. It should seem like a natural pairing, and you shouldn't have to try too hard to impress anyone.
why is this question in the make up section?
Deltas
DELTAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ALL THE WAY!
anyone who tells you to join one or the other is just saying that because they are/were a member. you shouldn't ask here because just because a sorority is a good choice in one university doesn't mean it'll be a good choice in another. you should talk to members from different sororities there at the school, and I'm sure each one has their own website too. you're just going to have to do research. and maybe NO sorority will be the best thing for you. remember that college isn't like the movies where all the hot girls are in one sorority and everyone else is ugly or a nerd. Joining a group like that is choice, and if you decide to not join one at all, that's perfectly fine.
