The best idea I have is for you to go to the shop you want the work done at and have the artist draw it out for you. Custom tattoos are always better than an exact replica of someone else's and it'll mean more if you have more to do with the design.

Looking for the name of the product in Victoria Principal's first line that was an alpha hydroxy product?
I've been trying to find the name of the product. Each time I look it up online only her current ';Reclaim'; line pops up either for any google search or for her website. If I do somehow manage to locate her first line all it will show is her typical skin cleansers, moisturizers or eye treatments. I loved her 'invisible toning mask'; and the aha product that would ';sting'; but utilized a nice amount of acids that it would really do a good job, but not dry your skin. Sounds funny but I miss the stinging. There are many websites where you can stick a photo on a tshirt, but I dont want that ugly square around it. I have my own art that I want to stick on so I was wondering if there are any sites that allow alpha or allow parts of the image to be masked...

I always get breakouts in one spot on my face. The rest of my skin is completely clear but this one tiny spot on the side of my face almost near my hairline always has one blemish on it. It keeps getting a blemish in the exact same spot over and over and it's scarring! I am wondering if there is life skills to be learned within the organization and ';doctrine'; (so to speak), that help elevated a woman's self-esteem!
Will the principles of A.K.A. help to change the thinking of the ladies they recruit? Please let me know your thoughts...Why Do The Ladies of ';Alpha Kappa Alpha'; Shake their Hair? Is it just Snoodieness, or is there a deeper meanin?

Other than the fact that women of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. have ALWAYS been known as the “pretty” girls who wear 20 pearls, when we shake our hair (and feign looking in a hand mirror), it’s just to demonstrate how pretty we are. There is no other significance. Ok…it’s all vanity. :-)
Our sisterhood does not strive to raise the self-esteem of it’s members, nor it’s perspective members, for that matter. We, through our programmatic focus, work toward that endeavor as we mentor young women (usually pre-teens and teenagers). The expectation of Alpha Kappa Alpha’s members is that perspective members are well-rounded, fully-assembled women who have something to offer toward the fruition of our goals.
But yes, we do offer seminars for the edification of our members’ financial, mental and physical well-being, as well as leadership development. These, however, were not designed to raise self-esteem, but make our members better able to SERVE our communities, raise our families, and care for ourselves. THERE ARE NO WEAK AKAs! Every member is richly BLESSED with knowledge, skills and abilities which have enabled the Sorority to be of service to all mankind for over 100 years!

It may stop making your face break out if you continue to use it, because you will simply be forcing your skin to deal with something it doesn't want to. The problem is that you will then still be damaging the lower levels of your skin, and you don't want to do that.

Yes, I used it. It really is a great product, but its SOOO expensive and extremely difficult to come by here in Ireland.
I just posted advice for someone else about acne. I will copy and paste it to this post now.
The topical advice given on acne.org can be used in conjunction with medication. If the AHA is too expensive, it can be dropped. Its not essential if the medication is doing the job. A regular oil free moisturizer would be fine.
I
Antibiotics- thrimotoprim, 200mg twice a day, and the birth control pill called dianette, which is specifically used for acne because it stops the skin glands producing excess oil. The antibiotics kill the acne producing bacteria.
You can only get these two medications from the doctor. Just go into your doctor and tell her/ him to write you out a prescription for those medications. They will hopefully be happy that they won't have to think of something!!If your acne is not severe, just ask for the dianette, because the thrimotoprim is strong, and can cause nausea, etc. Even ask for one 200mg per day on the prescription, depending on how bad your acne actually is.
Wash you face twice a day with an OIL FREE wash, preferably with scrub beads in it.
Also buy a cream with Benzoyl peroxide in it. Put this on after you wash your face at night around oily prone areas. When it dries put an oil free moisturiser on.

Alpha Hydrox (brand name) makes a few in different strengths, and Walgreen's also has their own private label alpha hydroxy cream as well. i think only the deramtologyst can prescribe it.the over the counter are not so strog.but any of them should be used only at night and washed of completely in the morning.because it peels away a layer of skin you will get freckles and burn marks-spots and like that.......

Alpha Hydrox has AHA in it...hence the name. It exfoliates the surface of the skin. It does have moisturizers in it also so it serves two purposes...exfoliating and moisturizing.

Lemon juice is one of few home remedies for acne that also works for scars. From my own experience, using lemon juice helped my scars disappear quickly and controlled my moderate acne. If you have dry skin do not use it! But if not try it, It does the same job as the peel maybe the results are not that fast but after about 2 weeks you will see improvements!

In my opinion, only YOU can answer that question. They are both excellent organizations, and like a previous poster stated, each chapter is different. My suggestion to you is to research BOTH orgs, attend their events, and see which fits you best. Membership in any of these organization is a lifetime commitment, so you want to make sure you make a wise choice.
When I went to college, I wanted to choose the organization that was best for me. I come from a blue and white family (zeta and sigma's) and I didn't want to become one just because my family was apart of it. After doing some research in High School, I narrowed my choice down to AKA and Delta. My senior year in H.S. I knew that I wanted to be a Delta hands down. Reading ';In Search of Sisterhood'; really inspired me to become a member, and I also found out later that a lot of teachers that looked up to H.S. were Delta women.
Everyone has their own personal reason for joining an organization, and you need to find your own personal reason of why you want to become a part of Delta/Alpha/ or any other organization.

If you mean other peptides ... well then, ha ha, I don't know. But a good thing to know is whether the peptides could actually penetrate into the epidermis and not just ';sit'; on top of the skin.
Alpha Hydroxy Acids are basically chemical exfoliants. They aid in exfoliation so, these are pretty good and they have been used for decades so ...this is safe.
In all, Vitamin C, E, and AHAs are, in my opinion, the best.
By the way, for Vitamin C, don't purchase drugstore brands. For Vitamin C, L-Ascorbic Acid is what should be looked for. Most, if not all drugstore brands, contain other forms of Vitamin C that, overall, are not as effective in protecting the skin and stimulating collagen production.

Probably not! It'll most likely cause excessive irritation, pealing, flaking, and redness or even worse, blistering, burning and skin discoloration. At such a high concentration, I doubt you'd be able to leave it on your skin for more than 5 minutes. My question is: why would you want to do that to yourself? Concentrations of 5 to 10% should suffice.

DON'T under any circumstances get a tattoo underage. It's not worth it! Your tattoo will be either from a shady person with an unkept shop and you could end up with and infection or AIDS. If your having a friend do it with indian ink the same can happen. Your best bet is to wait until your 18 like the rest of us had to.

DON'T under any circumstances get a tattoo underage. It's not worth it! Your tattoo will be either from a shady person with an unkept shop and you could end up with and infection or AIDS. If your having a friend do it with indian ink the same can happen. Your best bet is to wait until your 18 like the rest of us had to.
