I recently found my class ring from the High School that graduated from. Upon examining it, the word ';alpha'; appears on the inside of it. At first thought I think something the ring maker put on the ring, but i can't find anything about the ring maker because I don't know who made it.
Could it be something else?
Thanks! What does the word ';Alpha'; mean that is imprinted on a ring?
It might be the ring maker.

i might be a little rusty but im almost certain that i remember this correctly. in science and math the symbol for the greek letter alpha is used for the symbol of infinity. the symbol is the number 8 on its side
hope this helps
